Thailand Charter Week 2023 Postponed

Due to unforeseen circumstances it was decided by the board of the TYBA to postpone the 2023 edition of the Thailand Charter Week until 2024. This was a difficult decision but was made with the unanimous votes of the TYBA Board Members present at the Board Meeting held on the 1st September 2023.

The nature of yacht charter in Thailand has changed due to the influence of Covid and an increased demand from domestic and regional markets. In response to these changed charter requests, the TYBA Board aims to review the show concept, and re-evaluate the focus of the show, before relaunching it in 2024. A longer lead-up time will be necessary to prepare for a charter show, which caters to local charter companies’ requirements.

The board would like to sincerely thank the venue host Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, media sponsors Yacht Style, Luxuo, Palace, Helicam, Greenery Water and other sponsors for their continuous support of the TCW event so far.

All financial or other commitments in regard to TCW 2023 have been settled. The board of the TYBA has not agreed to, or authorized any other commitments in regard to TCW 2023.

We look forward to once again being able to produce a great and revamped Thailand Charter Week event in 2024, with dates to be announced shortly.
