Fountaine Pajot MY6 first showcase in Hong Kong

First time opening for invited guests in Hong Kong, Fountaine Pajot MY6 Open Day hosted by Asia Yachting just took place in Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club in Causeway Bay from 3rd to 5th July.

After a long pause of events due to pandemic, not even the first T8 of the year could stand in the way of enthusiastic guests who were eager to have a look at the first showcase of this French made power catamaran.

Formerly known as MY44, Fountaine Pajot MY6 is one of the most popular models in the region thanks to its spacious and elegant design. Crafted by Pierangelo Andreani, the interior had an upgrade with new Millesime. The lounge saloon, comprehensive galley and the driving station were all generous and luminescent in design. One floor down, the impressively sized owner’s suite on the port side, two VIP bedrooms on the starboard side and an optional cabin at the front are more than abundant for a big family trip. The event guests were especially excited about the volume of the cockpit and the 360 view of the flybridge, as they provide capacious spaces for social events.

“We are happy that the typhoon did not ruin the mood of powercat lovers. It’s been quite a while since our last boat show because of the pandemic, so it’s great to see the smiles of our guests again,” said Olivier Besson, CEO and founder of Asia Yachting.

With the surging demands in powercats in the region, the next Fountaine Pajot MY6 will be arriving in summer 2023, so better plan ahead if you wish to get your hands on one. In the meantime, the brand’s flagship motor catamaran, Power 67, will come to Asia for the first time next summer as well. So multihull lovers in Asia can keep your eyes peeled in the coming year.
