The Thailand Yachting Conference will take place in Phuket on 10 January 2024, and will lead into the Thailand International Boat Show 11-14 January 2024. Ocean Marina Jomtien sent a team of sailboat athletes to participate in the ACDC Sailing Championship 2023, which was held at the Air and Coastal Defense Command from 22 to 24 July 2023. The championship consists of two groups: the Gold Free Group, comprising 66 athletes, and the Green Free Group, with 60 athletes.

On Saturday the 22nd of July the Thailand yachting industry lost one of its true pioneers, Andy Dowden. Described by everyone who met him as an absolute gentleman Andy’s story in Phuket goes back almost 39 years.
